Nestlers Group
Leadership Team

Bucharest, June 2026 — We are proud to announce that Nestlers Group has become an official member of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Romania (CCROCH), deepening a relationship with the Chinese business community in Romania that has been years in the making.
This is not a new relationship — it is a formal recognition of one.
A Decade of Trust
For over ten years, Nestlers Group has been the immigration and global mobility partner of choice for Chinese companies operating in Romania. From multinational manufacturers and trading firms to technology companies and logistics operators, we have helped Chinese organisations navigate the complexities of Romanian immigration law — work permits, long-stay visas, temporary residence, family reunification, and the full spectrum of compliance obligations that come with building a workforce across borders.
We understand how Chinese businesses operate in Romania. We understand the pace they need to move at, the discretion they expect, and the long-term thinking they bring to every market they enter. We have built our service model around all of it.
Joining the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Romania formalises what has always been true: Nestlers Group and the Chinese business community in Romania are partners — not just in paperwork, but in ambition.
Elena Antoneac Appointed Vice President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Romania
As part of this membership, we are honoured to share that Elena Antoneac, Managing Partner of Nestlers Group, has been appointed Vice President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Romania — Bucharest Chapter.
Elena brings to this role more than a decade of experience at the intersection of Romanian immigration law and international business. She has guided hundreds of companies — many of them Chinese — through the operational and legal realities of workforce mobility in Romania, and she has done so with a practitioner's precision and a partner's investment in outcomes.
Her appointment reflects a shared belief between Nestlers Group and CCROCH that compliance is not a barrier to growth — it is the foundation of it. In her role as Vice President, Elena will work alongside Chamber leadership to advocate for the interests of Chinese businesses in Romania, strengthen the ecosystem of support available to member companies, and ensure that the community has direct access to authoritative guidance on the regulatory landscape they operate within.
June 30th: A Critical Conversation for Every Chinese Business in Romania
To mark this milestone — and because the timing demands it — Nestlers Group and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Romania are co-hosting an exclusive event on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, in Bucharest.
The event will address one of the most significant shifts in Romanian immigration regulation in recent years: the new legislative framework introduced by OUG nr. 32/2026, which substantially restructures the obligations and sanctions that apply to employers of non-EU nationals in Romania.
For Chinese companies with employees operating in Romania — whether on work permits, posted worker arrangements, or other legal bases — this legislation introduces new compliance requirements that cannot be overlooked. The stakes are material: sanctions under the new framework are more severe, enforcement is more structured, and the window for adjusting existing arrangements is narrow.
The June 30th event will give CCROCH members direct access to Nestlers Group's immigration specialists for a focused, practical briefing on what has changed, what it means for their operations, and what steps they should be taking now.
Attendance is limited to CCROCH members and invited guests. Details and registration are available through the Chamber directly at ccroch.ro.
What Comes Next
Membership in the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Romania is, for Nestlers Group, a beginning — not a destination.
Romania remains one of the most strategically important markets in Central and Eastern Europe for Chinese business, and the companies that succeed here over the next decade will be those that invest not just in commercial infrastructure, but in the compliance, legal, and people-management foundations that sustainable operations require.
Nestlers Group will continue to serve the Chinese business community in Romania with the same depth of expertise and personal attention it always has — and now, with a seat at the table that allows us to do even more.
We look forward to building what comes next, together.
